During my internship I was able to clinically observe cases of Asperger’s Syndrome in early childhood, assist in the preparation of therapeutic material & equipment, and participate in therapeutic intervention programme. The majority of the cases were comorbid and non-verbal.
Trainee Psychologist (Systemic Group Therapy) 11.2023 – present

My role as a trainee psychologist entails participating in weekly online group therapy sessions, observing, active listening, note-taking and sharing with my supervisor, reflecting on group members’ experiences, summarising and providing feedback. In collaboration with my supervisor, we encourage progressive growth, trust, openness, respect, effective communication, and boundary setting.
Apprenticeship in Health Psychology 02.2022 – 06.2022

The SafeFit Trial I supported the conduct of fidelity assessments of the SafeFit intervention as per protocol. Additionally, I shadowed SafeFit team meetings to gain an understanding of requirements of running a clinical trial, as well as other projects related to supervisors’ activities depending on my interest and practicalities. I helped in the analysis of qualitative process evaluation interviews with the SafeFit participants.
